My stay at Thornbeck Manor Lake was absolutely exceptional. The location was perfect, with just a short walk to both Windermere and Bowness. The house itself was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. It had everything I needed and more, from a fully stocked kitchen to a balcony with stunning views. The host, Alison, went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. She provided a welcome basket full of snacks, as well as a variety of toiletries and essential items. I was truly impressed by the level of detail and thoughtfulness put into making guests feel at home. I highly recommend Thornbeck Manor Lake for anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Windermere.

The villa at Thornbeck Manor Lake Windermere is absolutely stunning! The rooms are cozy and the bed linen is so soft and comfortable. I loved waking up to the mountain views from the terrace. The fully equipped kitchen made preparing meals a breeze. a perfect retreat!

I personally didn't find the satellite channels on the flat-screen TV very interesting, but hey, others might still enjoy it!

Stunning Accommodation! Mind-blowingly clean and well-equipped with hotel-like amenities. Fluffy towels, crisp bed linen, and fans in all bedrooms. The modern interiors and amazing welcome snacks made us feel instantly at home. Perfect location within walking distance to Bowness and surrounded by pubs and restaurants. The host, Alison, provided exceptional service and even allowed us to check in early. This 5-star experience with a personal touch is worth every penny. Can't wait to return!
